WHAT TO EXPECT

The 50% Glycolic Acid Peel is a medium strength peel that may produce little or no flaking. When the peel is applied you may feel a tingling sensation as the acid penetrates the skin. You can use a fan or an ice pack to alleviate any discomfort. The skin may be a bit pink and tight for a few hours following the peel. There is usually little to no downtime or interruption of normal activities with a 50% Glycolic Acid Peel.

Note: Glycolic and Lactic Acid usually do not produce dramatic skin peeling as the exfoliation is taking place at the cellular level.
